Challenge
To create a project that lets guests relive the emotions they felt as children — at their grandmother’s village, at a summer cottage, or during long school holidays. A place to pause, exhale, and remember what real rest feels like.

Concept
PAVZA is a collection of memories about childhood freedom — inspired by Ukrainian village life, summer escapes to the countryside, the characters of Ukrainian literature of the late 20th century, the unique atmosphere of Mykulychyn, and the traditions of rural leisure.
“Like in childhood, when your imagination is the only one to set the limits. When you could eat anything, in any amount, wear your favourite old clothes, and not care about what anyone thought.”
It’s blissful idleness, the smell of grass, the sounds of the village, and the complete absence of urban obligations.
“Pavza — nostalgia, for rent.”
Visual Identity
A village retreat crafted from memories and dreams, from a love for Ukrainian everyday life and nature, from the joy of simple, genuine moments.

Here, you feel the same freedom you had as a child. Here, the magic of doing nothing opens up. You can pick apples straight from the tree or lie in the grass counting stars until morning.
PAVZA is pure emotion in a pure place.

The visual language underlines this sincerity, shaping a fresh aesthetic of rural leisure.
